Great vacation rental, especially for golf fans and those seeking tranquility and landscape

My wife and I live in the Bay Area and were visiting family in Arizona for a month. We saw this new vacation rental up in north Scottsdale, near our family, and decided to take a chance. From the photos the place looked like it was out of a magazine, and it didn’t disappoint. The furniture’s brand-new and was stylish without being fussy, and the big open living area made it easy to just kick back after a long day in the sun. The living room in front had a nice large home cinema screen where we spent a lot of time watching movies. The kitchen had everything we needed, including appliances and cookware and had a nice island that became our gathering spot for morning coffee and evening chats. Each bedroom was very comfortable and we hosted some friends while we were there. The location was great for a golf fan like me. The courses in this Troon North area, minutes by car, were fantastic. The rental also sits right next to a Four Seasons, which was convenient for a few nice dinners and a spa visit. The Arizona setting was also very nice. We got to see some large saguaros, which surrounded the neighborhood, and the evenings had great sunsets that we were able to enjoy from the backyard. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, with hardly any noise besides the wind. The only drawback was perhaps the heat - we were there mid August into September, and it was still a little hot in the day. But obviously that didn’t have to do with the property itself. And the evenings were quite cool and comfortable, and we enjoyed some great dinners and drinks in the backyard, which was also great for entertaining visitors. All in all, our stay at this house was a great mix of comfort, landscape, and convenience. - Thomas Woo
